UPDATED OCTOBER 2, 2026
Terms of Use
These terms apply to all MeshWatch products: SyslogWatch, DeviceWatch, TrafficWatch, CertWatch, ConfigWatch, TrapWatch, MeshServerWatch, MeshWatch Central, and SecureServe. Where a term differs by product (edition names, prices, platform availability), the current details are published on that product's own page — SyslogWatch, DeviceWatch, TrafficWatch, CertWatch, ConfigWatch, TrapWatch, MeshServerWatch, MeshWatch Central, SecureServe.
The software
MeshWatch ("we", "us") publishes desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and MeshWatch Central and MeshServerWatch, self-hosted server software you run on infrastructure you control — all of it running on a machine you own or operate. Each product is configured by you to connect to devices, networks, or other MeshWatch products that you own or are authorised to administer; you are responsible for that configuration and for the devices and networks involved.
Editions and licences
Each product offers a 30-day trial and one or more paid editions (Pro, Enterprise, a flat annual licence, or — for MeshServerWatch — a monthly or annual subscription per monitored server, depending on the product) that unlock additional capacity, retention, or on-device AI features; SyslogWatch, TrafficWatch, CertWatch and ConfigWatch also have a free tier. Exact editions, device or feature limits, and current pricing are listed on each product's page.
How you're billed
On macOS through the Mac App Store, subscriptions are auto-renewing and billed and managed entirely by Apple under Apple's own terms; cancel anytime in App Store subscription settings.
On Windows and Linux, and for notarised direct-download macOS builds, paid editions are billed through Stripe. On payment, a signed licence key is generated automatically and emailed to the address you paid with. You activate it by pasting the key into the app. The key is verified locally on your own computer — MeshWatch apps do not contact a licensing server to check a key, so activation and continued use work offline.
Renewal and cancellation
Stripe subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; a new key is issued and emailed at each renewal. To cancel, email support@meshwatch.app before the renewal date. Because licence keys are verified locally and carry their own expiry date, cancelling does not revoke a key already issued — it remains valid until the expiry date printed in it, and access does not extend past that date without a new payment.
Refunds
Charges are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we approve a refund request for a billing error submitted within 14 days of the charge.
Acceptable use
You may not use a MeshWatch product to violate law, third-party rights, or the security or acceptable-use policies of any network or device you connect it to. You may not redistribute licence keys or share a key across installations beyond what your edition permits.
Availability and warranty
The software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change between releases, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for keeping independent copies of anything important derived from a product's local archive.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for data loss arising from your configuration, third-party services, network conditions, or failure to maintain your own backups.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as our products evolve; material changes will be reflected by a new update date above. Questions about these terms, licensing, or billing can be sent to support@meshwatch.app.
