About the studio

Hulin Li is an independent software developer based in Singapore. This site is home to a small, growing catalog of Mac, iOS, and Linux apps built with attention to detail and respect for user data.

Working style

Each app in the catalog is built to solve a specific problem the developer actually has. If an idea would need heavy advertising, a subscription treadmill, or user data collection to work, it does not get shipped. That is a deliberate constraint — it keeps the catalog small and the apps trustworthy.

Where these apps are used

SyslogWatch and SecureServe are Mac-first developer and homelab tools. RunMate and RunRecord are consumer iOS apps rooted in the Singapore running community. The mix reflects the developer's own two worlds: shipping software all day and running with a crew several times a week.

What's not here (yet)

• A team — this is one person plus AI collaborators.
• External investors — the studio is bootstrapped.
• An advertising budget — growth is organic through search, word of mouth, and the occasional Show HN.
